Dispatch a delivery

Overview
Dispatch deliveries by creating efficient routes and assigning them to drivers. Once orders are dispatched, you can monitor delivery progress in real-time and keep customers updated throughout the process.

Follow these steps to dispatch a delivery.
Dispatch a delivery
1. Select Track from the navigation menu, then the Routes tab.

2. Click Dispatch.

3. Select the routes you wish to send to drivers and adjust the settings.

Understanding the dispatch options
- Checkmark: use to select which routes to dispatch
- Status: highlight the status of that route.
- Start time: the time the driver should start the route
Tip: Use Update Start Time to Now to add the current time to all routes.
- Notifications: enable or disable customer notifications for that specific route.
Tip: Use Enable Notifications to allow notifications for all routes.
- Truck and Driver: select the truck and the driver that will work on that route. A driver is required to dispatch a route, but trucks are optional.
- Print Selected Route: download a PDF of the route with all the stops.
3. Select Dispatch.

Result
The driver will receive a message with a link and code to access their route. If Live mode is active and customer notifications are on at the route level, they will be triggered when the driver starts their route on Track Driver.

Dispatch a single route
1. Select Track from the navigation menu, then the Routes tab.

2. Find the desired route in the list.

3. Click on the purple icon on the route.

4. Adjust the settings, then select Dispatch.
