Use offline ordering
Find out how to draft orders without network coverage using offline mode on both web and mobile.

Overview
Continue drafting orders even in areas with no network coverage, such as freezer rooms or remote locations. Offline ordering enables you to access your order guide, add items to your cart, update quantities, and search for products even when you're disconnected from the internet. Once you return to an area with network connectivity, you can switch back to online mode and complete your order submission.
Tip: You must have network connectivity to initially switch to offline mode and download your order guide. Order submission requires returning to online mode.
Follow these steps to use the offline ordering functionality.
Switch to offline mode
1. Select Place Order from the homepage, or Order from the navigation menu.

2. In your Order Guide, click the three dots on the top right corner, then Switch to Offline Mode.

3. Click Activate Offline Mode to confirm the action.

4. Wait for the system to go offline. Once done, you'll see an offline banner confirming you're now working offline.

Result
While in offline mode, you can perform the following actions:
Available functions:
- Add items to your cart
- Update item quantities
- Change units of measure (UOMs)
- Search for items within the order guide
- Review your current cart contents
Disabled functions:
- Access to the catalog
- Order submission
- Navigation to other sections of the platform
- Any features requiring network connectivity
All inaccessible features will appear greyed out and disabled while in offline mode.
Return to online mode
1. Navigate to an area with network coverage.
2. Click the Go Online button in the offline mode banner at the top of your screen.
Tip: You must have network connectivity to switch back to online mode.

3. The system will reconnect and restore all platform functions.
4. Your cart contents from the offline session will be retained.
5. You can now submit your order or access other platform features.
