Place a customer order
Find out how to place an order on behalf of one of your customers.

Overview
In cases where it's more convenient for you or your sales rep to place an order for one of your customers, Cut+Dry makes it easy.
Follow these steps to order for your customer!
Place a customer order
- From the side navigation menu, select Customers.
- Find your customer, then select the Order Guide button.
Tip: You can search by Salesperson, use the customer filters, or start typing into the search box.
- Add items to your cart using either a customer Order Guide or your Catalog (or both):
Order items via order guide
- Select the appropriate order guide from the Order Guide dropdown menu.
- Add or remove items by using the Quantity buttons.
Order items via catalog
- Select the Catalog toggle button to go to your catalog.
- Add or remove items by using the +Add to Cart button.
- Once all items are added, select the shopping cart to check out.
- Review your order; if changes are necessary, select Edit Order.
- Choose a delivery date and, optionally, add any notes or special instructions to the order.
- Select Submit Order.
Result
You will receive a confirmation popup, and your customer will be notified of the order according to their notification preferences!
