Overview
Yes, Chef lets you find prospects on a map and generate proposals with a few clicks. Follow these steps to find prospects and generate a proposal.
Find prospects and customers
1. Select Leads from the navigation menu. Then select Find Prospects.

2. Move the map to see different restaurants in the specific area.
- Use the toggle to view prospects, existing customers, or all in the map.
- Use the search bar to look for a specific restaurant or address.
Tip: we only show 50 results per page, and locations have different numbers depending on the pagination, map zoom and type of relationship (prospect vs customer).

3. Click View Details to see more information about that location.

5. Click Generate Proposal to start a new proposal. You have two options:
- Generate with AI: the AI will compare menu information with your catalog, benchmark against similar existing customers (same cuisine or type of business), and suggest the best products for that customer.
- Create Manually: manually select the products to include in the proposal.

Create a manual proposal
1. Select Create Manually
2. Click Add Items.

3. Search the item by name or code, then click Select on every item you want to add to the proposal.

4. Click Add.

6. Once the proposal is done, review the restaurant information at the top, which gives you an overview of the food type and similar restaurants in your business book.
7. Review and make changes to the top catalog recommendations.
- Click Add New item to search your catalog and add a new item to the proposal.
- Click Product Tile to see more information about that product.
- Remove a product from your proposal by clicking on the trash can icon.

8. Select Price Settings to adjust the pricing.

Adjusting Price Settings
1. Select a customer to copy the pricing from. This is the only way to add pricing to your proposal - if no customer is selected, your proposal will not display prices.
- Click Select Customer
- Search for the customer using the name or customer code
- Click Copy & Update
2. Select if you want to display the prices to the customer using the toggle.
3. Click Done.

Overriding Individual Prices
1. Select an item in the proposal and click on the notebook icon next to the price.
2. Adjust the price, then select Update.
Tip: use reset values to go back to the original price before you click on update.

9. Click Share Proposal to get a customer-ready version of this proposal.
- Download the PPT.
- Share the digital version by using the QR code or the link provided.

6. Leave the page, or click Back. The proposal will be automatically saved.

Access previous proposals

2. Click View Generated Proposals.

You can also access them through the lead profile.
Result
You'll see a list with all proposals, with:
- Customer name.
- Status. If a proposal is ready for your review, the status will be Completed.
- When was created and last modified.
