Overview

You can have alerts sent to customers who have not yet ordered, based on the parameters you set. Set up your default order reminder settings for all customers, then (if desired) further customize the reminder settings for any individual customer location(s).

Follow these steps to set up alerts.

Order reminders can be set up as emails and/or text messages to your customers.

Set global order reminder settings

1. Select Settings, then Orders from the navigation menu.
   
2. Select Configure Alerts.
   
3. Choose your alert settings, then select Save.
   

    Tip: Customer Bookkeeper users cannot be selected to receive order reminders.

    
   
4. Toggle on (green) the Alerts selector.
   
5. Select Save Changes.
   

Set up order reminders for one customer location

1. Select Customers from the navigation menu.
   
2. Find and select your customer to open their Profile.
   

   Tip: You can search by Salesperson, use the customer filters, or start typing into the search box.

    
   
3. On the customer's Profile, select Configure Alert under the Order Reminders section.
   
4. Choose your alert settings, then select Save.
   
5. Toggle on (green) the Alerts selector.
   

Reset reminders to your default settings (one customer location)

1. Select Customers from the navigation menu.
   
2. Find and select your customer to open their Profile.
   

    Tip: You can search by Salesperson, use the customer filters, or start typing into the search box.

    
   
3. On the customer's Profile, toggle Use Global Settings under the Order Reminders section.
   

Reset reminders to your default settings (all customer locations)

1. Select Settings, then Orders from the navigation menu.
   
2. Select Overwrite all order reminders.
   
3. Select Save Changes.
