Overview
Track+ Driver by Cut+Dry is a free mobile application that enables drivers to manage delivery routes, update delivery status, and provide real-time location tracking. The app is available for both Android and iOS devices and requires location permissions to function properly.
Follow these steps to install and set up the Track+ Driver application.
Install the app
1. Open the Google Play Store or the App Store on your device.
2. Search for Track+ Driver by Cut+Dry.
3. Select Track+ Driver from the search results.
4. Click Install or Get to download the free application.
5. You may now enter your password to confirm the download.
First-time setup
1. When opening Track+ Driver for the first time, you'll see a page prompting for a route code. Drivers can access their assigned route in two ways:
- Tap the dispatch link sent via SMS during route dispatch
Tip: When selecting the dispatch link, choose to open with Track+ Driver (not web browser). Then, select Always to avoid this prompt in the future.
- Enter the 6-digit access code found on the route card in the Portal
2. When prompted about background location use, tap OK to continue.
3. Allow Track+ Driver to access device location when prompted.
Important: Location access is required for route monitoring and customer notifications. Location services are only active while the application is in use.
Cut+Dry requires location access to:
- Display truck locations on the monitoring map
- Send accurate arrival notifications to customers
- Track delivery progress in real-time
Location tracking is only active while the application is in use and stops when routes are completed or the app is closed.
4. You're in and ready to start your route.
