Overview

In this article, you'll learn about updates to catalog management, including the new Custom/Best Toggle, global enrichment settings, and improved transparency for linked product content. These updates enhance your ability to manage and customize your catalog while leveraging global manufacturer content from Cut+Dry.

Custom/Best Toggle

Using Custom Images:

When selecting Custom Images, you retain full control over your product imagery. Here's what you can do:

1. View Full Image: Open images in a larger format in a new tab.
2. Delete Images: Remove any images you no longer need.
3. Set a Thumbnail: Choose the primary image customers see for your product.
4. Crop Images: Adjust images to fit your needs using the crop tool.
5. Add Additional Images:
   • Upload a new image from scratch.
   • Select a Potential Product Image (previously called "recommended product images").
   • Select a Recommended Product Image (NEW! Available when linked product content exists).
6. Rearrange Images: Use image tagging (NEW!) to determine image sorting order. Note: The thumbnail image always remains at the top.

Using Best Images:

When opting for Best Images, you use high-quality global or manufacturer-provided images. However, these images cannot be modified.

• What You Can Do:
  • Open images in a larger format in a new tab.
• What You Cannot Do:
  • Set a different thumbnail.
  • Crop, delete, or add images.
  • Rearrange images using tagging.

Global Enrichment Settings

Overview of Global Enrichment Settings:

The Global Enrichment Settings enable you to manage enrichment preferences across your entire catalog. Previously, enrichment toggles were only available at the product level. With this update, you can now set enrichment preferences globally.

Key Features:

• Default Settings: When images roll out, the default will be set to Custom Images. Most distributors will initially use their custom images.
• Auto-Enrich Data Toggle: This toggle is being replaced with the more modern Enrichment Bubble interface.
  • Tooltip: “Use C+D product database to enrich your data.”

Enrichment Bubble:

The Enrichment Bubble provides:

• Enrichment Status: Indicates whether a product has been enriched with Cut+Dry’s content.
• Product-Level Enrichment Settings: Switch between Custom and Best image content for a specific product.
• Global Settings Button: Accessible in the center of the Enrichment Bubble.
  • Admins Only: Only administrators can access and update global settings.

Current Functionality:

At this stage, the Global Settings button only applies to images. Future updates will expand its scope.

Transparency for Linked Products

• Improved clarity and visibility for linked product content ensure you know exactly what is being displayed from manufacturer-provided resources.
