Overview
You now have deeper control over how brands and specific products appear in catalog search results with Search Boosting, where you can now influence search rankings by adjusting the weight of specific brands.
With Search Boosting, you gain control over your search results by assigning different levels of importance to particular brands and custom tags. Boosting an item elevates its products in the search rankings, making them more visible to customers. It's important to understand that Search Boosting modifies a product's underlying score. While this significantly increases the likelihood that boosted products will appear at the top, it doesn't guarantee a specific top placement.
- Strategic Prioritization: Highlight key brands or custom tags for promotions or strategic partnerships.
- Control Visibility: Adjust brand and tag prominence based on inventory levels or sales goals.
- Personalized Search: Tailor search results to your specific brand and tag preferences.
Tip: Use this to fine-tune search experiences based on sales strategies, inventory levels, or promotional focus. You can promote strategic or seasonal brands, de-emphasize low-stock or lower-priority brands, and deliver more personalized, targeted search results.
Follow these steps to boost a brand or a custom tag in your search results.

That Brand or custom tag will have varying priority in search results. Your customer will not see any indication of a search boost.
While this significantly increases the likelihood that boosted products appear at the top and demoted products at the bottom, it doesn't guarantee any specific placement.
