Product recommendations, or suggestive sales, are an effective way to showcase specific products, increase basket size, and provide customers with a better, more personalized experience. Cut+Dry allows for six different types of product collections, or carousels, to be displayed while a customer is ordering from you.

Follow these steps to enhance your customer experience with suggestive sales.

Review the different product carousels

Top Category Picks

• Location: At the top of each category page while a customer is shopping in your catalog
• Customizable? Yes - customize and enable/disable a related list for each category of your products
• Customer view:
  

Compare Similar Items

• Location: At the bottom of any specific product page
• Customizable? No - an automated carousel of items from the same category
• Customer view:
  

Recommended for Customer

• Location: On the Review Order (checkout) screen
• Customizable? Yes - curate a list of your products to be displayed for all customers

Recommended by Sales Rep

• Location: On the Review Order (checkout) screen of customers assigned to that sales rep
• Customizable? Yes - each Salesperson can create their own list of recommendations; each Salesperson's list can be toggled on or off

Don't Forget to Order

• Location: On the Review Order (checkout) screen
• Customizable? No - an automated carousel of items that customer has previously ordered within the last 90 days but aren't currently in their cart

More from this Brand

• Location: At the bottom of any specific product page
• Customizable? No - an automated carousel of the top 15 purchased items from the same brand (across all customers)

Enable a product carousel

1. Select Boost from the navigation menu, then the Selective Sales tab.
2. Select View & Configure next to the feature you want to turn on.
3. Toggle on (green) Carousel Display Status (if present) OR toggle on any of the available categories to turn on the carousel.
   

Customize a carousel's items

Three product recommendation carousels allow you to add individual products from your catalog by selecting View & Configure, then Configure. The customizable carousels are:

• Top Category Picks
• Recommended for Customer
• Recommended by Sales Rep

Add an item to the carousel

Select +Add Item and use the search box.

Change the order of items within the carousel

 Select the three lines by the item and drag it around within the list. 

Toggle a category's display within the carousel

 Turn on display to customers by changing gray (inactive) toggles to green (active).
