Add or edit team members
Find out how to add, change, and remove accounts for your team.

Overview
When you add a new team member to Cut+Dry, you assign them one of four roles: Admin, Salesperson, Accounts Receivable, or Dispatcher. This role changes their view, access, and visibility within the app—and can be changed at any time.
- Admin accounts can view and access everything.
- Accounts Receivable and Dispatcher accounts primarily access their sections of the app (Pay or Track).
- Salesperson accounts can be restricted to see only their associated customers or can view all.
Follow these steps to manage your own team members within the app.
Add a team member
- Select Settings, then Team from the navigation menu.
- Select Add User.
- Enter the new team member's information into the fields.Tip: Either a valid mobile number or email address is required for someone to set up a Cut+Dry account—this phone number or email address will be their login credential.
- Choose the team member's role within the app from the dropdown menu.Tip: For more information on roles and the access granted, refer to the Roles permission matrix for distributors.

For salesperson roles only: Select or clear the checkbox to Restrict user to only view customers assigned to them.
- Optionally, select or remove the user's related warehouse location(s).
- Select Invite User.
Result
Your new team member will be sent an invite to the mobile number and/or email address supplied for them, giving them a link for the app and to connect to your account.
Please note that invitations expire; after 14 days, you will need to Reinvite a team member who has not accepted their invitation.

Reinvite a team member
- Select Settings, then Team from the navigation menu.
- Find the team member, either by scrolling or using the search box.
- Select the pencil icon on the line with their name.
- Select Resend Invite.
Result
The team member will be resent the same invite email or text message with a link to sign up to Cut+Dry.
Edit a team member's role
- Select Settings, then Team from the navigation menu.
- Find the team member, either by scrolling or using the search box.
- Select the pencil icon on the line with their name.
- Select a different Role from the dropdown menu.
- For salesperson roles only: Select or clear the checkbox to Restrict user to only view customers assigned to them.
- Select Save Changes.
Result
Role changes are effective immediately, though the affected user may need to log out of the app and log back in to update their access.
Assign someone as a sales manager
The Sales Manager isn't a standalone role at Cut+Dry. It's an existing Admin or Sales Rep user who has been granted broader access to other reps' leads.
That means a Sales Manager keeps everything they could already do in their base role (placing orders and managing accounts as a rep, configuring settings as an admin) and additionally gains the ability to view, work, and report on leads owned by other reps.
1. Select Settings, then Team from the navigation menu.
2. You need to add someone before assigning them as a sales manager. Find the team member, either by scrolling or using the search box.
3. Click the sales manager toggle. When the toggle is on, you can assign salespeople to this manager.
When you set up a Sales Manager, you decide what they can see. There are two options:
- All sales reps. The Sales Manager sees every lead and customer owned by every rep in the organization. Useful for VPs of sales, regional sales directors, or single-territory distributors where one person oversees the whole team.
- Assigned sales reps only. The Sales Manager sees leads and customers owned by a specific list of reps that you assign — and nothing else. Useful for territory managers, district leads, or any structure where multiple managers each oversee a different slice of the team.
In both configurations, the Sales Manager also continues to see and own their own leads and customers.

4. Click Save Changes.
Remove a team member
For salesperson roles only: Salespersons are linked within your ERP. If you delete a sales rep in Cut+Dry but don't delete them in your ERP, they may reappear next time your ERP data synchs with the app. Please remove salespersons from your ERP before removing them in the app.
- Select Settings, then Team from the navigation menu.
- Find the team member, either by scrolling or using the search box.
- Select the pencil icon on the line with their name.
- Select the Remove User link.

For salesperson roles only: Select another salesperson to re-assign customers to.
- Confirm by selecting Remove User once more.
Result
Team members removed from Cut+Dry will have their access to your account immediately revoked.
