Add a payment method for a customer
Find out how to add your customer's credit card or bank account to their account.

Overview
Customers can pay through Cut+Dry using a credit card or bank account. Please note that debit cards are not allowed.
Follow these steps to add a payment method to your customer's Cut+Dry profile.
Add a payment method for a customer
1. Select Customers from the navigation menu.
2. Find and select your customer.
Tip: You can search by Salesperson, use the customer filters, or start typing into the search box.

3. Select the Invoices tab, then the +Add Payment Method link.
4. Select the payment method to add, then enter the customer's payment details.
Tip: add a note to the payment method to easily distinguish between cards and bank accounts later. Notes are never visible to your customer.

5. Select Next.
Result
Added payment methods show on the customer's Invoices tab. From here, you can now Enable Auto Pay for a customer.

Your customer will also be sent an email like this, except with your company's branding.
