Find out how to add, edit, move or delete stops and breaks.
On this page:
Overview
Track allows dispatchers to fully customize delivery routes by adding new stops, editing existing stop details, rearranging stop sequences, and removing unnecessary stops or breaks. These route modifications can be made before dispatch or during active deliveries to accommodate last-minute changes, customer requests, or operational adjustments.
Follow these steps to manage your stops.
Add or edit a stop
1. Select Track from the navigation menu, then the Routes tab.

2. Locate your route in the list below the map.

3. Select the map icon or click add stop.

4. Fill out the required information for the stop, ensuring all address data is entered correctly and accurately.
Tip: click Add Order to link the Cut+Dry order to this stop to ensure dispatchers and drivers have the complete information and reduce delivery errors.

5. Click Save Changes.

Delete a stop
1. Select Track from the navigation menu, then the Routes tab.

2. Locate your route in the list below the map.

3. Select the stop and click the pencil next to the stop number.

4. Click Delete Stop.

Important: We don’t recommend deleting stops for dispatched routes; instead, we recommend notifying the driver to skip the stop. Moving it to the Unassigned Stops section is an alternative to deleting a stop. A dispatcher can remove the stop from the route by dragging it into the Unassigned Stops section, which allows the dispatcher to retain the stop information while removing it from the route.
Add a break
1. Select Track from the navigation menu, then the Routes tab.

2. Locate your route in the list below the map.

3. Select the coffee cup icon.

4. Fill out the required information for the break.
Tip: the route will default to the route the add break was triggered from with a default duration of 30 minutes.

5. Click Add Break.

6. To make edits, click the pencil next to the break.

7. Make the necessary changes, then click Save Changes. If needed, you can delete the stop at this time.

Arrange stops and breaks
1. Select Track from the navigation menu, then the Routes tab.

2. Locate your route in the list below the map.

3. Click and hold on the Move Selector at the left of any stop row, and drag the stop up or down as required. The system will not allow you to move a stop if the stop has already been (or is in the process of being) completed.

Tip: When moving stops between routes, Cut+Dry recommends that the dispatcher expand both routes, otherwise, the stop moved to a new route will be moved to the end of the route.
Move skipped stops
For a variety of reasons, a Driver may need to skip a stop, requiring that stop to be rescheduled. The driver may reschedule this stop themselves within Track+ Driver pp, but often it is easier for a dispatcher to reschedule the stop. The process is the same as above, but there are a few things to keep an eye out for.
- Add the stop level, a skipped stop can be recognized by the skip icon
- The skipped label is shown next to the In Progress label indicates the number of skipped stops along the route.
- The current stop position is indicated with a blue circle around the stop number. When a stop number is replaced, that stop and the following stops get shifted down by 1. For example, if a stop is moved from 2 to stop 4, as pictured, the original stop 4 will become stop 5.
- After a skipped stop has been moved, a new label indicating the original position of the stop will appear by the moving stop, and the skip-stop button will dim
Alternatively, you can make changes to the stop number while editing the stop.
Arrange stops and breaks on the map
1. Select Track from the navigation menu, then the Routes tab.

2. Review the route and stops on the map. Then, click on the stop you want to move.

3. Choose the route and stop number.
Tip: To move a stop within the same route, select the same route identifier. If no stop number is provided, the stop will be added to the start of the route.
4. Click Move.

Sync ETAs
After rearranging stops, ETAs need to be recalculated. You can do so by pressing the Refresh Button that appears on the route card. This is important for ensuring accurate customer notifications.
