Manage delivery routes

Find out how to create and manage delivery routes.

Jul 09, 2025

Overview

Track allows dispatchers to create delivery routes using two primary methods: uploading route data files or creating routes manually. File uploads are the quickest way to add multiple routes, while manual creation gives you control over individual route details.

Follow these steps to manage your Track resources.

Upload a routing file

1. Select Track from the navigation menu, then the Routes tab.

2. Select the date the routes are expected to run. Routes that continue into consecutive days will be shown across multiple days.

3. Click Manage Routes, then Import Routes

Tip: click download example file if you need a template.

4. Select your file (.xls, .xlsx, or .csv format) and click upload to begin processing.

Tip: you can also drag and drop your file directly into the box.

You may also add route data using an integration like Aspen or using an API endpoint in JSON. Please reach out to your Growth Manager if you'd like to enable these options.

Allow 1-2 minutes for Cut+Dry to process routing data. Successfully uploaded routes will appear in your route list and can be displayed on the map.

Tip: the system will indicate if there are any errors - the most frequent one being field mapping errors. Learn more about that here.
