Overview
Cut+Dry Pay is designed to display all customer invoice information and allow your customers to easily make single or automatic payments directly in-app.
Tip: Pay can function as a two-way sync if you choose to set up a Pay Confirmation file.

What can my customers do in Pay?
Your customers can:
- Add payment information
 - Make single and batch payments
 - Set up Auto Pay
 - Download invoices and receipts
 - Invite bookkeepers to the app
 
What can my Accounts Receivable (AR) team do in Pay?
Your AR team can do all the same things as customers, plus:
- Set up customers on Auto Pay
 - Capture payments on behalf of customers
 - Send out payment reminders (both automated and manual)
 - Send out statements (both automated and manual)
 
How does the integration work?
- There is a direct connection via files or API that sends Cut+Dry all invoice details, including line item amounts, taxes, fees, and any other invoice-specific information.
 - This direct connection (or integration) updates:
- Invoice payments
 - Credits due
 - Customer account status (whether on hold or removed from hold)
 
 - In the Pay Requirements Call, you will finalize details like:
- Invoice terms
 - How credits appear on invoices and statements
 - Whether Cut+Dry should automatically mark invoices as paid in your ERP, or if you prefer to do this manually
 - Sync frequency
 
 
How are deposits made?
- Deposits occur on business days—one for ACH payments and one for credit card payments.
 - You will receive two reports with each deposit:
- The Payment Initiated Report shows which customers initiated payments via:
- The portal
 - Auto Pay
 - Manual capture by your AR team
 
 - The Payout Report details the funds deposited into your account.
Tip: There are separate reports for ACH and credit card payments.
