Create a New Order Guide with a Spreadsheet Import

You can create multiple order guides by adding items from the catalog or importing a spreadsheet. In this article, we'll focus on the spreadsheet import. 

1. Open your customer's order guide.

2. Click on "Create".

3. Give the Order Guide a name.

4. You'll see 2 options: "Upload a List" and "Add from Catalog". Click on Upload File.

5. Download the template and fill out the information. Save the template.

6. Upload the spreadsheet into Cut+Dry. 

7. You'll get a summary of your import, including the number of new items, new sections, and failed items. 

Tip: You can download the error file to see why certain items can't be uploaded.

8. Click on "Confirm" and then "Close Editor" to see your new order guide. 

9. That's it! 🎉

Edit and Existing Order Guide with a Spreadsheet Import

You can edit your order guide to add or remove new items, change the order of items, add new sections, and more. In this article, we'll focus on editing through the spreadsheet import. 

1. Open your customer's order guide.

2. Click on "Edit".

3. Click on "More Options" and then click on "Import Order Guide".

4. Download your current order guide by clicking on "Export Order Guide".

5. Make the changes to your order guide and save the file.

6. Upload the spreadsheet into Cut+Dry. 

7. You'll get a summary of your import, including the number of new items, new sections, and failed items.

Tip: You can download the error file to see why certain items can't be uploaded.

8. Click on "Confirm" and then "Close Editor" to see your new order guide. 

9. That's it! 🎉
