Overview

You can now invite brands to Cut+Dry directly from your portal! This powerful feature enables seamless collaboration between distributors and their brand partners, creating a more comprehensive and accurate product catalog for your customers.

When brands join Cut+Dry through your invitation, they can begin updating product information immediately, including photos, descriptions, specifications, and more. This means your linked products are automatically enriched, and customers see accurate, complete listings when they shop.

Follow these steps to invite a brand or manufacturer.

Vendors page overview

1. Select Catalog from the navigation menu, then use the top toggle to select Vendors. 

You'll see 2 main sections: the key insights and the list of vendors.

• Your catalog score shows how complete and enriched your catalog is. Each product receives a score based on how much information is available for that product, and the catalog score combines the score for all products.  
• Invited vendors show how many invites your team has sent. 
• Inactive vendors show brands that have not been invited yet. 

The vendor list shows all manufacturers listed in your catalog. You can see:

• Number of active products and brands in your catalog,
• the completeness score for that specific vendor,
• and the status - not invited, invitation sent, or active. 

Vendor-specific page overview

1. Select Catalog from the navigation menu, then use the top toggle to select Vendors. 

2. Select a vendor from the list, then click View. 

The vendor page displays all products listed in your catalog and key insights. You can see:

• Preview brand page lets you see what that brand page looks like in your catalog.
• View entire catalog takes you to our product Showcase to see all products for that specific vendor. You can explore the catalog and link existing products to your catalog. 

• The completeness score shows how complete and enriched your catalog is. Each product receives a score based on how much information is available for that product, and the vendor score combines the score for all products from that specific vendor.  
• Active products and brands associated with that vendor. 

• A list of all products associated with that vendor in your catalog. You can click the product or the brand to view it. 

If a brand or a product is not showing up here, go to Edit Products and ensure the vendor is listed in the product. 

• The vendor status shows if the vendor has received an invite, has created an account, and has signed in. 
• The list of contacts invited, their contact information, and their status.

Invite a vendor

1. Select Catalog from the navigation menu, then use the top toggle to select Vendors. 

2. Click Invite New Vendor.

3. Select the company, and fill out the contact information for the invite. 

4. Click Send Invite.

Result

The vendor's contact will receive an email invitation. 

When they accept the invitation, they access their FREE Cut+Dry Manufacturer account where they can start adding and editing their product information. 

The product information is automatically synced to your catalog if you have the product linked and have auto-enrich turned on. 

 

Invite a vendor from the vendor list

1. Select Catalog from the navigation menu, then use the top toggle to select Vendors. 

2. Find a vendor by scrolling through the list or using the filters and search. 

3. Click View.

4. Select Send Invite.

5. Fill out the contact information, then click Send Invite. 

Review invitations

1. Select Catalog from the navigation menu, then use the top toggle to select Vendors. 

2. Click Review Invitations. 

3. The vendor list will be filtered to show only those who received an invite. Select one of the vendors.

4. Review the contacts and their status. If needed, follow up or edit and resend the invite.
